Jennifer R. Shutek

Jennifer Shutek is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University, Steinhardt. Her dissertation focuses on the history of Arab-Jewish migrations to Palestine/Israel, the impacts of immigration on foodways, and multisensoriality in urban landscapes. Her previous research has explored community cookbooks, agricultural imagery in the arts, and gastrodiplomacy in Palestine.
